- Lead out on Vhi Healthcare DAC’s New & Winback PMI Corporate Business.
- Develop & implements tactical plans which enables Vhi Healthcare to meet its strategic corporate business acquisition targets across its business lines.
- Develop & implement a comprehensive Corporate Business Acquisition plan to ensure we grow our corporate market share in PMI and Multi-line sales.
- Plan and deliver an agreed yearly and multi-year plan for the Corporate Business Acquisition Team for both new to market opportunities and competitor accounts.
- Lead out on the co-ordination and development of market leading tenders/bids/renewals pitches for new and existing corporate clients.
- Lead and coach the existing acquisition team to develop market leading pitches to demonstrate Vhi’s superior differentiated proposition for both new and existing corporate clients.
- Provides updates and insights on trends and outcomes in Corporate Business Acquisition across the organisation with regular updates to the Vhi Healthcare DAC Management team, EMT, Vhi Insurance DAC and Vhi Group DAC Boards.
- Works in a collaborative fashion with all members of the Vhi Healthcare Management Team and other key stakeholders (Commercial Markets team, Marketing, Shared Service, Customer Office) to ensure delivery of all organisational KPI’s.
- Works closely with Vhi’s EBC relationship lead, to support and professionally manage Mercer, AON, WTW, etc. engagements.
- Works as a business coach to the sales team to promote desirable sustainable change and business growth – This element of the role will support the delivery of the Vhi Group people strategy.
- Day to day leadership and management of the Corporate Business Acquisition Team including performance management, capability development and team effectiveness.
- As a member of the Insurance Leadership/Sales leadership team support the development, refinement and implementation of all aspects of the Insurance Strategy ensuring alignment with the overall Vhi Group Strategy.
- Supports the business as required in any key organisational projects.
What will you need to be successful:
Education & Knowledge:
- Minimum 10 years commercial experience in a sales /acquisition environment.
- Third level qualification minimum degree, preferably in a business discipline, and/or a professional financial qualification.
- APA or equivalent qualification.
- Proven track record of formulating and implementing cross-business strategies and plans for driving business growth.
- Proven commercial focus with a strong business acumen.
- Ability to express ideas in a clear & concise manner - verbally & in writing and to communicate with impact across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on fostering & developing talent.
- Sales orientated with a proven ability to deliver on organisational goals & sales targets who is self-driven and strongly motivated.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas across the organisation to include all Vhi Teams.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all our customers both internal and external EBC’s.
- Strategic thinker, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to analyse & translate complex concepts into concrete actions & approaches.
- Self-starter with ability to influence with impact at all levels.
- Emotional intelligence – ability to adapt style and approach to different types of professionals and individuals.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with proven experience of building and managing relationships with external stakeholders.
