Overview
We’re looking for a Risk & Compliance Administrator to join our team on a part-time (24 hours per week), fixed-term maternity cover contract for approximately 12 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in compliance within a global insurance organisation. You'll work closely with our Compliance Manager and wider teams to support key compliance activities, including due diligence, KYC checks and regulatory compliance.
This role offers excellent flexibility, with 24 hours per week that can be worked across three days or arranged to fit around other commitments where possible. The role is hybrid, typically involving one day per week in the office and the remainder working from home.
How you'll make an impact
- Conduct KYC checks and review documentation.
- Perform sanctions screening and due diligence activities.
- Monitor compliance queries and respond to straightforward requests.
- Assist with record-keeping, reporting, and compliance mailbox management.
- Support compliance processes and escalate complex matters when needed.
- Help ensure our business operates in line with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Your work will help us maintain high standards of compliance and support our global clients, including NGOs, international schools, and charitable organisations.
About You
- Has good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Communicates clearly and professionally.
- Can analyse information and follow processes accurately.
- Is eager to learn and develop in a compliance role.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in compliance, KYC, AML, or a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of insurance or financial services.
- Familiarity with tools like LexisNexis (not essential).
