Job Description:

Our mortgage advisors use in-depth knowledge of the Irish mortgage market to find suitable mortgage products to meet the needs of our clients. As a mortgage advisor at Irish Mortgage Corporation, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their mortgage journey. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique financial situations and mortgage needs. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, current experience providing mortgage advice to clients in a target-based environment is necessary and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients to understand their mortgage goals.
  • Develop customised mortgage plans tailored to clients' individual needs and objectives.
  • Educate clients on the various mortgage products and services available to them, explaining mortgage options available in an understandable manner.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Irish Mortgage Corporation Teams to leverage expertise and resources for the benefit of clients.
  • Stay informed about changes in the Irish mortgage industry, including regulations, market trends, new products/services, and incorporate this knowledge into client recommendations.

Requirements (*Mandatory):

  • Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) qualification is mandatory. *
  • Candidates must have previous experience in a client-facing mortgage advisory role, preferably in a broker role. (2yrs+ minimum). *
  • Strong understanding of mortgage criteria, products, and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Proven ability to work in a target-based environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
