€85,000 to €100,000 depending on experience, plus bonus, pension, healthcare and vehicle

RFC Fire & Security Systems is appointing an Operations Manager for its Dublin business.

The role covers the delivery of service, maintenance, installation and project work. You will manage the engineering and supervisory teams, plan work, deal with operational issues and make sure clients receive the service they have paid for.

You will report into the senior management team and will be involved in staffing, budgets, costs and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational team, including engineers and supervisors
  • Plan work and ensure the right people and materials are in place
  • Monitor engineer utilisation, job completion, service levels and outstanding work
  • Deal with client issues and support key accounts where required
  • Work with the commercial team on pricing, costs, margins and budgets
  • Recruit and manage staff, including performance and development
  • Maintain health and safety, compliance and technical standards
  • Improve scheduling, reporting and work processes where they are causing problems

Experience required

You will have managed operations within a fire and security business.

You will understand service and maintenance contracts, installation work and projects. You will be able to manage a field-based team, deal with customers and keep control of costs.

Experience with Irish fire and security standards and PSA-regulated work would be useful.

Package

Salary is €85,000 to €100,000, depending on experience. The package also includes a performance-related bonus, pension, healthcare and a company vehicle or vehicle allowance.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Dublin. Applications will be treated in confidence.
