Full job description

We are seeking a dynamic and certified Personal Trainer to join our team. As a Personal Trainer, you will work closely with clients to develop personalised fitness plans, conduct assessments and provide ongoing guidance to help individuals achieve their fitness goals. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a passion for fitness and the ability to motivate and inspire clients of all ages and fitness levels.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct fitness assessments to determine clients’ baseline fitness levels, goals and any health limitations.

Design customised workout plans tailored to clients’ specific needs, preferences and fitness goals.

Provide guidance on proper exercise techniques, nutrition and lifestyle modifications to support clients’ overall well-being.

Monitor clients’ progress, track their achievements and make necessary adjustments to their fitness programs.

Demonstrate exercises and routines, ensuring clients perform them safely and effectively.

Motivate and support clients to stay committed to their fitness journeys and maintain a positive attitude towards achieving their goals.

Keep up-to-date with industry trends, certifications, and new training methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 4 years experience working as a Personal Trainer.

Possession of a Level 4 Personal Trainer qualification or equivalent certification.

Strong understanding of anatomy, exercise physiology and nutrition.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to reach their fitness goals.

CPR/AED certification (nice to have, but is not mandatory)
