Jilly & Joe's Tipperary, located in Dovehill shopping village, are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Assistant Manager to join our team.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, delivering exceptional service and upholding the highest standards of food and beverage presentation. The ideal candidate will lead by example, support the team on the floor, and contribute to an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage department, including service in the restaurant, cafe, and drive thru.
  • Ensure all guests receive outstanding customer service in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead, train, and motivate team members to uphold brand standards and service quality.
  • Assist in scheduling, stock control, and staff management to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues swiftly and professionally.
  • Monitor cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and minimizing wastage.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and Restaurant teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Support in setting up and closing procedures, including cash handling and reports.
  • Contribute ideas for improving menus, promotions, and customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in food and beverage( Minimum 3 years)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering top-class service.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in food handling.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Barista skills (advantageous but not essential).
  • Relevant qualifications in hospitality or food service (desirable).
