Full job description

What you'll do

  • Weigh, mix, prove and bake breads, rolls, pastries and confectionery
  • Operate ovens, mixers, provers and dough dividers
  • Follow recipes and production schedules to volume
  • Finish, glaze and pack products for sale/dispatch
  • Maintain cleanliness and food-safety in the bakery

Your working hours

You'd start around 22:00 and finish about 06:00 (39-hour week, breaks paid or scheduled per site). You'll usually work nights, Monday to Friday, with a night-shift premium on your hourly rate.

What we're looking for

  • Baking experience or craft bakery training
  • Comfortable with very early morning starts
  • Food hygiene / HACCP awareness

  • QQI / craft bakery qualification
