Office Administrator (Construction)Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Office Administrator to join our busy construction company. This is a varied role that requires excellent administrative, customer service, and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the office, assisting with accounts administration, and providing exceptional service to customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer enquiries professionally.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing emails.
  • Process supplier invoices and customer payments using Big Red Cloud accounting software.
  • Create purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain company documentation.
  • File and organise both electronic and paper records.
  • Assist with general office administration and day-to-day office operations.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and contractors as required.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an office administration or administrative assistant role.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with Big Red Cloud accounting software is an advantage but not essential.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience within the construction industry is desirable but not essential.
