  • Developing and implementing creative initiatives to increase footfall, revenue, and customer loyalty.
  • Managing stock control, ordering, margins, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety, licensing, and operational standards.
  • Building strong relationships within the local community and positioning the venue as a destination for great food, drink, and hospitality.
  • Working closely with the owners to deliver growth plans, improve performance, and achieve long-term business objectives.
  • Ensuring all cash handling, tills, and opening/closing procedures are followed correctly.
  • Managing the venue's social media presence to drive customer engagement.
  • Maximising occupancy and revenue across the venue's guest accommodation.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior management role within a busy bar, restaurant, or hospitality venue.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • A commercial mindset with experience in driving sales and managing costs.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A hands-on approach and the flexibility to lead by example.
  • Ability to remain calm and organised under pressure.
  • A warm, engaging personality with the ability to make customers feel welcome.
  • A thorough understanding of licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and hospitality best practices.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary of €55,000–€60,000 per annum
  • Performance-based bonus
  • Opportunity to lead an established venue under new ownership.
  • Career development and progression opportunities.
  • Supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • The opportunity to make a real impact and shape the future success of the business.
