Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Full-Stack Engineer specialised in Ruby on Rails or Golang and Typescript (including React.js, Next.js, Node.js). We need an engineer that has at last 5years of professional coding experience to take full ownership of new features from the first engagement with designers to bug-free code in the production environment.

The candidate must proof to have strong knowledge on backend processing of real tine data. Strong emphasis will be put on the understanding of energy data and data elaboration from utility bills, kWh and co2 emission. The engineers should be very strong in both front-end and back-end components including strong experience with java-script charting such as Highcharts and data science models.

Day-to-day tasks include working on back-end software development and could include the implementation of Tailwind CSS for user interface design while and ensuring seamless integration between various components of the platform.

A strong requirement is to be able to travel with no VISA requirement across Europe and the candidate may be required to attend an in-person interview in the country of residence.

What we expect

  • A minimum of 6 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails or Golang, React.js, Next.js, Node.js are required.
  • Proficiency in other languages such as Python, will be considered a valuable asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS or similar UI design frameworks
  • Proficiency in Docker and knowledge of Kubernetes is a valuable asset.
  • Strong background in Git and a demonstrated history of maintaining code quality through thorough pull request reviews.
  • Experience with writing well-tested and high-quality code
  • Open to various programming languages and willing to learn continuously
  • Hands on experience in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP).
  • Working knowledge of good practices for computer and data security.
  • No visa requirement to travel across Europe and Ireland

  • Back-End Web Development and Software Development skills
  • Front-End Development and CSS expertise
  • Full-Stack Development experience
  • Proficiency in creating responsive and user-friendly interfaces
  • Experience with integrating and working with third-party APIs
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €24,000.00-€60,034.53 per year
