Full job description

Full time Chef required in a busy Café/restaurant in the heart of Athlone.

We have been open for 20 years and pride ourselves in freshly prepared and cooked food. We are looking for a enthusiastic person who is willing to learn and help create a appetizing menu suitable for our café.

Duties include assisting the Head Chef in monitoring kitchen activities, expediting orders to ensure quality taste or presentation and processing food deliveries to ensure health and safety methods are being carried out.

We are open everyday from 8.30a.m until about 4.30-5pm everyday with the exception of Sunday and bank holiday Monday's as we are closed.

Experience is absolutely essential as we are a very busy business and unfortunately do not have the time or space to train up new staff.

We require that you must be a team player and have a good work ethic to apply for this job. Majority of our staff have been with us for a numerous amount of years and we see ourselves as a close unit working together.
