Full job description

We are looking for an Area Manager to work in multiple accommodations in the Dublin and Kildare Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staff management, and overall performance across multiple accommodation facilities within the organization. Maintaining high standards of operational excellence, ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and drive the success of each facility.
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the various accommodation facilities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to manager, supervisors and staff ensuring adherence to policies and procedures in all facilities within your area.
  • Manage and supervise property staff, including shift scheduling, performance evaluations, and providing guidance and support to all facilities within your area.
  • Monitor and assess the operational performance of each location, implementing improvements as needed to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Plan and conduct regular visits to each facility, ensuring every location receives attention and oversight, with a minimum of one visit per week.
  • Maintain daily communication with supervisors to receive updates on any incidents, accidents, or significant events occurring on the premises.
  • Ensure all locations within your area adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards, maintaining consistency in operations.
  • Stay flexible and ready to address and resolve any issues that may arise in any of the locations within your area.
  • Support the Operations Manager with implementation of process, procedures and policies, ensuring that an excellent operations standards are in place.

Full-Time Permanent position.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • B&B experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Must be available to work the odd evenings.
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work on weekends when necessary.
  • Essential to have own car.
