Receptionist

Join Our Front Office Team

We are currently recruiting Full-Time or Part-Time Hotel Receptionist to join the Front Office team at our country house hotel and spa.

Set in beautiful surroundings, our hotel is renowned for its warm Irish hospitality, exceptional guest experiences and relaxing spa facilities. We are looking for friendly, professional and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy meeting people and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service.

As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you will play an important role in creating memorable experiences from arrival through to departure.

The Role

Working within our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of Reception and delivering a consistently high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a genuine, friendly and professional manner.
  • Complete guest check-in and check-out efficiently and accurately.
  • Assist the Duty Manager in the daily operation of Reception.
  • Handle reservations, guest enquiries and telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues with care and attention.
  • Promote the hotel's accommodation, dining experiences, spa facilities and special offers to enhance each guest's stay.
  • Maintain accurate guest records using the hotel's property management system.
  • Work closely with all hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Uphold the high standards of presentation and service expected within a luxury country house hotel.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A warm, welcoming personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
  • A professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including weekdays, weekends, early and late shifts.
  • Previous experience in Hotel Reception, Front Office or Reservations is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
