Area Sales Representative – Galway & surrounding areas

Reporting to: National Sales Manager

Salary: 50-65k

Optimize Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading Irish vitamins and nutritional supplements business as it continues to grow its commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced field sales professional with pharmacy experience to join a growing business with an established portfolio across VMS, probiotics, children's health, sports nutrition and specialist supplements.

Essential:

  • 3+ years' successful field sales experience.
  • Proven experience selling into community pharmacies in Ireland.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Comfortable working independently across a large territory.
  • Full, clean driving licence.

Desirable:

  • VMS, OTC or consumer healthcare experience.
  • Existing pharmacy relationships.
  • Category management or merchandising experience.
  • Experience delivering product training.

You will be responsible for:

  • Growing sales and distribution across your territory.
  • Managing and developing existing pharmacy accounts.
  • Winning new business across independent and group pharmacies.
  • Building strong relationships with pharmacy owners, pharmacists and OTC teams.
  • Delivering product training and education.
  • Driving merchandising, promotions and in-store execution.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
  • Achieving agreed sales and distribution targets.
  • Managing your territory, CRM activity and business plans effectively.
