Full job description
Overview:
Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire a Mechanical/Building Service Engineer in a permanent role, working from our Dublin office. You will get the opportunity to work on a range of Data Centre and Commercial Projects, from the early construction stage through to construction, commissioning, and handover.
Responsibilities:
- Review and coordination of Mechanical Design drawings & specifications.
- Preparation of Project-Specific Technical Submittals.
- Generation of Data Sheets, Material Requisitions & Enquiry Packages for procurement of equipment
- Assist with the generation of Mechanical Claims and Variation Sheets.
- Ensure our delivery complies with project quality plans, internal processes/standards, and regulatory engineering standards and specifications.
- Project manage Subcontractors and Suppliers to ensure packages are procured, delivered, installed, and tested as per project requirements
- Perform system walk-downs and generate snag lists.
- Preparation of O&M Manuals and As-Built Drawings.
- Assist with the Commissioning of installed systems.
Qualifications / Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical or Building Service Engineering (Experience with
HVAC/Mechanical Installation in Data Centre/Pharmaceutical Projects)
- Self-starter with confidence in coordinating the efforts of others.
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Good communication skills (ability to partake in technical reviews with Clients and
Suppliers)
- Openness to travel where required.
