We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2 years’ Quantity Surveying experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or main contractor projects.

This permanent role is for our Dublin Airport project, a major aviation infrastructure project supporting the future development and operational efficiency of one of Ireland’s most important transport hubs.

Civil Engineering Project Experience

  • Road and transport infrastructure.
  • Marine, Aviation and Renewables.
  • Bridges, structures, utilities and water infrastructure.
  • Earthworks, drainage and heavy civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project costs, cost control, valuations, variations, payment applications and commercial reporting on a major civil engineering infrastructure project.
  • Support procurement, tender analysis, subcontractor management, subcontractor accounts, contract administration and final account preparation.
  • Work closely with project, site, engineering and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost control and contract administration.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, cost-value reconciliations, cashflow updates, cost reports and accurate commercial records.
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities, maintain accurate records and contribute to the successful commercial delivery of the project.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Graduate or Junior Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, within civil engineering, infrastructure or a main contractor environment is essential.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying essential
  • Degree obtained from an Irish third-level institution essential.
  • Fluent English communication skills essential.
  • Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience in cost management, subcontractor accounts, variations, procurement, reporting deadlines and project financial control.
  • Full Irish driving licence essential.
