About the Role:

Energy Lads is a dynamic and growing company based in Annacotty Co.Limerick, specialising in energy efficiency and sustainability. We are committed to delivering high-quality, tailored solutions for both residential and commercial properties. As an Energy Engineer, you will join a team passionate about energy efficiency, working alongside experienced professionals who are dedicated to enhancing energy performance across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional eager to start or advance their career in energy assessment and sustainability with plenty of opportunities for growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Energy Assessments for residential and commercial properties across Ireland.
  • Preparing detailed engineering reports and recommending energy efficiency measures to improve building performance.
  • Work closely with senior assessors and other team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in assessments.
  • Stay updated on the latest building regulations and energy efficiency standards.
  • Conduct air tightness testing, ventilation validation and other engineering field services as required. All training and certification will be provided.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Minimum Level 6 qualification in engineering, architecture or construction related field.
  • Experience with 2D CAD software is essential.

Experience & Skills:

  • Full Irish driver’s license with no penalty points.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for on-site assessments multiple days per week.
  • Eager to expand knowledge in energy assessment and sustainability, staying updated on the latest building regulations and energy efficiency standards.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from €32,500 to €37,500 per annum. With a combined total package of up to €43,000.
