PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Marketing Executive will manage our online presence across various social platforms. They will be responsible for creating engaging content, increasing brand awareness and driving user engagement through effective social media strategies.

KEY DELIVERABLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement and manage social media strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Create and schedule engaging content.
  • Manage day-to-day posting across our social platforms.
  • Stay up to date on social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Respond to Comments, messages and customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Commercial and Marketing Team for campaign execution
  • Maintain brand consistency in messaging and visuals.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • 1 - 3 years in social or digital media
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and algorithms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with an eye for design and storytelling
  • Graphic design capabilities
  • Video Editing Experience
  • Familiarity with tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, Meta Business Suite and Asana
  • Basic Knowledge of analytic tools (Google Analytics, Platform Insights)
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Interest in sport and events preferred
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Copywriting and proofreading with excellent attention to detail
  • Outgoing & willing to get involved with events and shoots
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Teams
  • Availability for out of hours events e.g. sporting events, sponsored festivals
  • LOCATION ETC
  • Galway City Office
  • On-site work for 6 months with review thereafter subject to business needs
  • 38 hour working week not incl. breaks
  • Occasional weekend and out of core hours require
  • 25 days Annual Leave

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS ETC

  • Third Level Degree in relevant discipline
  • Experience working in an office environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €30,000.00-€32,000.00 per year
