We are a dynamic, Irish-owned, growing start-up based in Cork. As we continue to scale, we are building a strong, people-focused culture and are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources professional to join our team and grow with us.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain broad exposure across all areas of Human Resources

Role Overview

This is a varied and hands-on role supporting the day-to-day delivery of people operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in human resources administration, compliance, employee experience, and people systems, while also contributing to strategic people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records on our system (Zoho People)
  • Actively participate in the continuously improvement of the people system Create and maintain documentation within and outside of the system

· Create and maintain policies

  • Prepare for audits and ensure adherence to internal and external requirements

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including CV screening , interview scheduling and candidate communication
  • Support onboarding processes and organise onboarding programmes for new hires
  • Ensure a positive onboarding experience

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Liaise with internal Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrolment and queries
  • Support employees with payroll and benefits-related queries

Employee Engagement & Communications

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives
  • Support communication and promotion of employee programmes (e.g. EAP initiatives)
  • Research areas of employee experiences internally and externally including benchmarking and make proposal for changes to soft and hard benefits

Performance & Talent Management

  • Track Performance & Development discussions and associated documentation
  • Support talent management activities, including succession planning
  • Assist with the annual talent review process

About You

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or a related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Human Resources role
  • Experience working with HR systems or ERP platforms is an advantage

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Proactive, flexible, and eager to learn
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office and HR systems)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
