Your new company
A growing residential developer is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team in Cork. With a strong pipeline of residential developments across Cork, this is an opportunity to join an expanding team with scope to take on greater responsibility and progress.Projects: Residential developments
Location: Cork
Salary:anywhere from €45-€80k, depending on experience.
Opportunity: Strong local pipeline & career progression
Your new role

  • Manage the commercial aspects of residential construction projects
  • Cost planning, budgeting and ongoing cost control
  • Procurement and management of subcontractor packages
  • Prepare and assess valuations, variations and payments
  • Monitor project costs and commercial performance
  • Work closely with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Assist with or manage final accounts depending on experience


What you'll need to succeed

  • Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry
  • Residential or general building experience is advantageous
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills
  • Good communication and ability to work closely with site and commercial teams
  • Ability to manage your own workload and commercial responsibilities
  • Ambition to develop and progress within a growing commercial team
