Metering Operations Coordinator

Location: Dublin

Contract Length: 12 Months

Rate: €173.08 per day

About the Role

We are seeking a Metering Operations Coordinator to support the efficient delivery of metering field operations. Reporting to the Metering Services Manager, this role will coordinate the end-to-end management of metering activities, including work order creation, scheduling, dispatch, quality assurance, stakeholder coordination, and operational reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining service quality, supporting operational efficiency, resolving process and data issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across Metering Services.
Key ResponsibilitiesWork Order Management

• Create and manage work orders for customer complaints, investigations, meter exchanges, installations, and Data Logger surveys.
• Review requests for completeness and accuracy before dispatch.
• Support backlog management and prioritisation activities.

Scheduling & Dispatch

• Schedule and allocate work to field engineers based on geography, skills, workload, and business priorities.
• Collaborate with Regional Leads to ensure effective work allocation across operational areas.
• Support operational expansion into new regions.

Quality Assurance & Operations

• Review and validate work orders before assignment.
• Identify and manage problematic work orders requiring further review.
• Coordinate follow-on actions including data corrections, system updates, revisits, and outstanding tickets.
• Support the resolution of escalated customer complaints and operational issues.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse operational data to identify trends, issues, and additional work requirements.
• Produce and maintain Power BI reports and performance metrics.
• Monitor meter performance, data quality, and compliance standards.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a key point of contact for Regional Leads, field teams, customer complaints, IT support, and operational stakeholders.
• Manage operational queries and provide timely updates on work status.

Systems & Continuous Improvement

• Support operational job plan creation, testing, and deployment.
• Assist with Maximo and workforce management system administration.
• Identify process improvements and support business transformation initiatives.

Essential Skills & ExperienceExperience

• Experience in Maximo and C2M is a distinct advantage.
• Experience in operational coordination, scheduling, dispatch, or workforce management.
• Experience working within field service or utility operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience coordinating stakeholders across multiple teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using workforce or asset management systems (e.g., Maximo).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Experience interpreting operational data and producing reports.
