Our client, a well-established and growing catering business, is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead their culinary operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and driven chef who thrives in a fast-paced catering environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food experiences.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a genuine passion for food, strong organisational skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team while maintaining the highest culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality catering services
  • Plan, create, and develop innovative, seasonal menus
  • Ensure consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service
  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including stock control and food cost management
  • Maintain all food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety standards
  • Work independently and use initiative to solve problems and drive standards forward
  • Collaborate with management to enhance catering offerings and customer satisfaction

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience in a Head Chef role, ideally within catering or high-volume food service
  • A genuine passion for food and culinary excellence
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • A creative approach to menu planning and food presentation
  • The ability to work on their own initiative and manage a busy kitchen independently
  • A full, clean driving licence and access to transport (essential)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
