As we prepare to open Tolka Valley Nursing Home, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Supervisor / Head Chef to lead our kitchen team from the very beginning.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and supervise the catering team

• Develop nutritious, varied menus tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences

• Maintain excellent HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards

• Manage food ordering, stock control and kitchen budgets

• Create an enjoyable, person-centred dining experience for residents

• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and support audits

About You

• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Catering Supervisor or in a similar leadership role

• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards

• Experience in healthcare, nursing home or institutional catering is desirable

• Good organisational, leadership and communication skills

• Understanding of nutrition, modified diets and the needs of older people

• A genuine passion for preparing quality food and making a difference to residents' daily lives
