Clinical Operations Manager — Homecare (Dublin South)

RecMark is managing a confidential search for a Clinical Operations Manager on behalf of one of Dublin's most established and respected homecare providers. This is a senior role reporting directly to the Managing Director, and it combines two things that almost never come together:

• The clinical side you already know. Clinical governance, HIQA standards, mentoring CNMs and care coordinators, supporting complex case reviews, and upholding quality across the business. You'll stay close to the work you trained for.
• The commercial side you've been waiting to get into. Driving growth across HSE and private pathways, building relationships with hospital discharge teams, PHNs and case managers, securing new contracts and tenders, and helping shape the direction of a growing business.

This is the role for the clinician who's always thought: "I could run this side of it too."

Why this role is different

Most senior clinical roles come with a price — shift work, weekend cover, being permanently on-call. This one doesn't.

• Monday to Friday
• 9 to 5
• No on-call, no weekend rotations
• Hybrid working — office-based with field work meeting clients and referral partners
• A direct line to the MD and a seat at the senior table

For senior clinicians who love what they do but want their evenings and weekends back, that combination is genuinely rare.

What you'll be doing

• Leading business development across HSE, private and referral pathways
• Building strategic relationships with hospitals, PHNs, case managers, and HSE commissioners
• Identifying and securing new contracts, tenders and service opportunities
• Supporting clinical governance, HIQA compliance, and quality improvement
• Mentoring and supporting CNMs, supervisors, care coordinators, and team leaders
• Contributing to service design, innovation, and the safe onboarding of new care packages

Who we're looking for

• A senior Clinical Nurse Manager, Clinical Operations Manager, or equivalent
• Background in homecare, community care, nursing home management, or a related healthcare setting
• Natural commercial instinct — someone who enjoys the strategic and relational side of the business, not just clinical delivery
• Experience engaging with the HSE or similar public health systems
• Strong understanding of HIQA standards and person-centred care
• A credible communicator who can hold their own with commissioners, consultants, and families alike

The salary is deliberately not advertised because this role is being matched to the person, not the other way round. For the right candidate — someone with the clinical seniority and commercial appetite we're looking for — the package will be highly competitive, negotiated directly, and structured to reflect both the seniority of the role and the value you bring.
