CareGivers Ireland is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistants to join our growing team across South and West Dublin. If you are passionate about helping people remain independent in their own homes while delivering person-centred care, we would love to hear from you.

Pay Rates

  • Weekdays: €16.00 per hour
  • Weekday Evenings: €18.90–€20.00 per hour
  • Saturdays: €24.00 per hour
  • Sundays: €32.00 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: €32.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

As a Home Care Assistant, you will:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, companionship, and household tasks.
  • Support clients to maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Follow individual care plans and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
  • Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control procedures.
  • Promote client safety, wellbeing, and choice.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Follow Health and Safety policies and report concerns appropriately.
  • Attend training, supervision sessions, and team meetings as required.

Essential Requirements

  • QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
  • Permission to work in Ireland.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care.
  • Availability to work weekends on a rotational basis.
