Pay Rates

  • Weekdays: €16.00 per hour
  • Weekday Evenings: €18.90–€20.00 per hour
  • Saturdays: €24.00 per hour
  • Sundays: €32.00 per hour
  • Bank Holidays: €32.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

As a Home Care Assistant, you will:

  • Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, companionship, and household tasks.
  • Support clients to maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Follow individual care plans and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
  • Adhere to Infection Prevention and Control procedures.
  • Promote client safety, wellbeing, and choice.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Follow Health and Safety policies and report concerns appropriately.
  • Attend training, supervision sessions, and team meetings as required.

Essential Requirements

  • QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
  • Permission to work in Ireland.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care.
  • Availability to work weekends on a rotational basis.
