Full job description

Job Role & Responsibilities

  • Manually harvesting vegetables outdoors and in poly tunnels in a precise and well paced manner. Solo and as part of a team.
  • Assist the farm team in sowing, planting and weeding crops - indoors and outdoors.
  • Operating tractors and carrying out general tractor work, including ploughing, machine weeding, road haulage.
  • Carrying out general machinery maintenance and upkeep and keeping equipment and work areas clean.
  • Following SOPs for health and safety and HACCP protocols
  • Working as part of a busy farm team and assisting with other general duties as required.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Previous experience working in a farm environment, commercial horticulture farm preferred
  • Category B & W licenses with at least 2 years tractor driving experience
  • Reliability in working a full time work schedule

About the job

  • Working Days: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Paid lunch breaks and staff lunch provided
  • 20% staff discount in our farm shop & cafe
  • Wage is negotiable based on previous experience

Pay: €15.00-€18.00 per hour
