KSG Catering is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Catering Assistant / Barista to join our team at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin 8.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy hospitality environment where excellent customer service, teamwork and high standards are at the heart of everything we do.

As a Catering Assistant / Barista, you will support the day-to-day operation of the café, providing friendly and efficient service to customers while ensuring high standards of food, beverage preparation, cleanliness and presentation.

This is a full-time position, and candidates must be fully flexible to work early and late shifts, including weekends.

Previous coffee/barista experience is highly desirable, although training will be provided to the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Prepare and serve coffee, hot and cold beverages to a high standard.
• Assist with food preparation and service.
• Operate the till and handle customer transactions accurately.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the café.
• Ensure food and beverage areas are well presented and fully stocked.
• Follow all Health & Safety and food safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
• Support colleagues and management with the smooth running of the café.
• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience to all customers.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience is desirable.
• Coffee/barista experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive, friendly and professional attitude.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Full availability for early shifts, late shifts and weekends is essential.
