Panel for Clerical Officer Grade III Roles
Full Time Hours, Permanent and Temporary Roles
(Under the Governance of Mercy University Hospital Cork CLG.)
MUH are looking to recruit Permanent and Temporary Full Time Clerical Officers for various Departments.
Departments include but are not limited to the Emergency Department, Laboratories, Medical Records/Admission, Nursing Admin, Outpatients, Bed Management Unit, Ward Clerks, Medical Secretary support and Professional Services. Some roles may include shift work/weekends or working at offsite MUH locations.
Responsibilities:
- Clerical administrative support to include processes as defined by each of the departments. Interaction with patients, their families, and our clinical team (of nurses, doctors, scientists, etc), over the phone or in person, may form part of the role.
Eligibility Criteria - Candidates:
- Healthcare IT Systems experience desirable, e.g. iPMS, T-Pro, PACS, HealthLink, etc.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel needed. A typing test may form part of the assessment.
- Previous administrative experience of at least 1 year essential.
- Exceptional Communication, Organisational and Time Management skills required.
- Very strong accuracy and attention to detail is a must.
- Ability to work on one's own initiative or in a team environment.
- Relevant administrative course desirable.
