Full job description

Full-Time Receptionist

Location: Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal
Hours: Full-Time (5 days per week, fully flexible morning evenings and weekend shifts)

The Mount Errigal Hotel is seeking a friendly, professional, and organised Receptionist to join our front office team.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome to all visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests and providing a professional first impression
  • Managing guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to guest enquiries
  • Handling reservations and updating booking systems
  • Processing payments and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting guests with information about hotel facilities and local attractions
  • Supporting the wider hotel team with administrative duties as required

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, professional, and well-presented manner
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel booking systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience:

Previous reception, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
