Hotel Porter jobs

Barberstown Castle Hotel in Straffan, Co. Kildare are currently recruiting for full time Kitchen Porters to join our established team.

Requirements of the Role:

• Variable shifts. You must be available to work 5 FULLY flexible shifts including weekends where necessary as our kitchens operate over a 7 day period.
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a similar role is preferred.
• A keen eye for cleanliness and the ability to maintain high standards.
• HACCP and Manual Handling training preferred, although training is provided.
• The ability to drive is desirable as depending upon shifts, they may end late at night.

Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing: Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitised.
• Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
• Assisting: Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed, contributing to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen.
• Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised workspace.
