Muckross Park Hotel & Spa, part of the iNUA Collection, is a renowned Five Star hotel located in Killarney, Co. Kerry. The hotel is surrounded by nature in Killarney National Park and is only 4 Km from the town centre.

We are now delighted to announce that we are seeking a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in Yew Tree restaurant. This is a permanent role, based in the hotel, offering a very attractive package and benefits. Schedule 6:30 am to 3 pm.

Overview of the Role

To provide exceptional service to our guests in Food and Beverage outlets and to maximise guest satisfaction and food and beverage profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that guests receive high-quality service
  • Ensure that the Yew Tree Restaurant premises are in neat and orderly condition at all times
  • Greet and seat the guests, and make sure that they receive prompt, courteous and efficient service
  • Provide guests with high-quality service
  • Perform all service duties of the Yew Tree Restaurant, i.e. food service, beverage service, room service etc.
  • Seek appropriate opportunities to communicate with guests to personalise the service
  • Ensure readiness and compliance among all team members

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in high-volume operations is a distinct advantage.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of HACCP.
  • Understanding of Food and Beverage procedures
  • Must be flexible within the role
  • Good communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
