Full job description

We are looking to recruit someone who has had at least one years experience in a 4 Star Hotel Accommodation Assistant role. This is a requirement for the role and any applicant not showing this relevant experience in their application is likely to be unsuccessful. Roganstown is an equal opportunities employer however, this role requires that the successful candidate has the desired previous experience.

Main Duties:

  • To spend the allotted time per room cleaning, as stated in the standard operating manual.
  • Carry out in each room the assigned extra duty of the day e.g. wash skirting.
  • To carry out immediately any requests of the supervisor regarding the rooms they have checked.
  • To deal with guest requests immediately.
  • Always to be courteous, helpful and informative, when dealing with a guest.
  • Any lost property must be handed in immediately to the senior housekeeper.
  • Report to the supervisor any equipment not working or if any stock is running low.
  • Report to the senior housekeeper anything, which might be a Health & Safety hazard.
  • All accidents, no matter how small must be reported immediately.
  • Must have previous experience in a Hotel Accommodation environment
