Salary: €32,000 - €36,000 per annum
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Thursday | 8:00am - 4:00pm Friday

Churchfield Home Services is seeking an organised, proactive and people-focused People Operations & Recruitment Administrator to join our growing People & Culture function, based in our Crossmolina, Co. Mayo office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career across People Operations and Recruitment within a growing organisation.
The role will provide hands-on experience across recruitment, onboarding, employee administration, People compliance, workforce monitoring and employee engagement.
You will play an important role in ensuring candidates and employees receive a professional and efficient experience while helping us maintain accurate records, strong processes and high standards of compliance across the employee lifecycle.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, systems and processes, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in seeing tasks through to completion.
What You'll Do
- Support recruitment from vacancy advertising through to CV screening, candidate communication and interview coordination.
- Complete first-stage candidate screening against agreed role requirements and support telephone screening where appropriate.
- Ensure candidates receive professional and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate the administrative onboarding process for new employees, including employment documentation, references, and internal setup.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HR systems, registers and documentation.
- Coordinate employee changes and offboarding administration.
- Support employee-file compliance reviews and maintain People compliance records.
- Track employment documentation, policy acknowledgements, probation/performance records and other defined People requirements.
- Identify missing documentation or compliance gaps, follow up routine actions and escalate matters where required.
- Support the maintenance of evidence and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Review defined workforce and timekeeping exception information and maintain accurate supporting records.
- Track agreed actions and follow-up requirements through to completion.
- Support employee engagement activities, surveys, events and wider People initiatives.
- Assist with People reporting and continuous improvement as our systems and processes continue to develop.
- Work collaboratively with managers and departments across CHS to ensure People processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
What You'll Need
This is a junior/entry-level People Operations role, and a HR qualification or previous HR experience is not essential.
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional, approachable and people-focused manner.
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft 365 and learning new systems.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities.
- Strong follow-through and the ability to keep track of outstanding actions.
- Good judgement and the confidence to escalate something when it doesn't look right.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with others.
- A genuine interest in developing a career within People Operations and Recruitment.
Previous experience in administration, recruitment, HR or another people-focused/coordination role would be advantageous but is not essential.
A relevant qualification in HR, Business or a related area would also be advantageous but is not required.
