Full job description

We are an award-winning busy Holistic Health Clinic in Dublin 2 looking for two fully qualified Massage Therapists to join our ever-expanding team for part-time work, 3-4 days per week. (Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun ).

*Fluent English is required for this position*

*Diploma in Massage Therapy is essential*

We have vacancies for direct employee therapists as well as sub-contractors

*You must become a member of the IMTA (Irish Massage Therapists Association)

IDEALLY, YOU WILL;

  • Be used to working as a Massage Therapist in a busy clinic or as a Spa Therapist. You will also have additional qualifications in different types of Massage Therapy, including: Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, and Indian Head Massage.
  • You will be a high-energy/hardworking individual who enjoys a fast-paced environment
  • You MUST have an ITEC (or the equivalent) Diploma in Massage Therapy
  • You must have extensive knowledge of being able to locate and release trigger points
  • You must have fluent English and be legally able to work in Ireland.
  • You must be confident in rebooking clients, as the position is performance-based and having a repeat client base is essential to succeed in the role.
  • Both College and Work References will be strictly checked
  • You must have the stamina and work ethic to be able to treat up to 7 clients in an 8.5-hour shift.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Provide 45, 60 and 90-minute massage appointments
  • Guide clients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them
  • Talk with clients about symptoms and desired results
  • Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body
  • Design sessions around clients’ specific complaints or problem areas
  • Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture
  • Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions
  • Document the client’s condition and progress
  • Be a team player and provide Reception Cover as and when needed (full training provided).
