Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client currently have a requirement for a suitably skilled Solution Tester.

This is a temporary position; the initial contract duration is for 12 months with the possibility of extension thereafter. This location for this position is flexible (must be residing in Ireland) and is also working off a hybrid model, and you must be able to attend meetings when required.

Based off a 35-hour work week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €32.02 based off an annualised salary of €58,477.00 and will accrue 30 days' annual leave per year along with public holidays.

Role & Responsibilities

Testing Process Responsibilities

  • Execute testing as per testing plan and testing sessions
  • Contribute to the test deliverables
  • Contribute to the development of testing documentation
  • Contributing to the UAT process across the relevant stakeholder departments
  • Contribute to the sign-off process of testing with relevant stakeholders and testing resources
  • Ensure the sustainable testing model agreed is adhered to, in order to deliver ongoing testing
  • Adhere to the quality control and governance process of the testing program, which will require an understanding of each of the configuration and testing environments

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and implementation of comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of healthcare software and systems
  • Contribute to the creation of well-structured and functional test cases covering various testing types such as functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance.
  • Participate in the execution of test cases and analysing the results to identify and resolve defects
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and assist in resolving testing challenges
  • Collaborating with vendors, developers, project management, Community Care Programme Lead Tester, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify testing needs

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of ICT solution testing preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge and experience in the delivery and management of ICT enabled change projects ensuring the requirements are met
  • Experience of working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of involvement in project planning, report development, RAID and RACI management along with other project management tools.
  • Experience of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders must be clearly demonstrated in the submission.
  • Clinical experience or experience working within clinical teams would be an advantage.
  • Experience in the development and execution of test scripts in a healthcare environment would be an advantage

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to present information in a confident and logical manner.
  • Demonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects are maximised.
  • An ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.

  • Demonstrates and ability to support the development and delivery of a project plan.

  • Displays a commitment to achieving quality results including experience in evaluating the provision of services.
