Interior Designer

Elk House Interiors | Greystones, Co. Wicklow

Elk House Interiors is an established and growing interior design studio specialising in high-end residential interiors, bespoke renovations, and show house projects across Dublin and Wicklow.

Based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow, we are currently seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our collaborative and creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who is passionate about delivering beautifully considered spaces and who enjoys working across multiple premium residential projects from concept through to completion.

The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, design-focused, and confident working both independently and within a wider studio environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an interior design role
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Experience producing and managing FF&E schedules and specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent understanding of space planning, layouts, materials, finishes and technical detailing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented
  • Professional, approachable and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider design team
  • Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit or similar design software
  • Site coordination and contractor liaison experience
  • Knowledge of procurement and supplier coordination
  • Experience attending client meetings and presenting design concepts
  • Understanding of building regulations and industry standards
  • Strong supplier, finishes and material sourcing knowledge
