Healthcheck Physician (GP)

Mater Private Network - Preventive Health / Healthcheck Service

  • Cherrywood: Tuesdays (1 GP), Wednesdays (2 GPs), Fridays (1 GP)
  • Northern Cross: Thursdays (2 GPs)


Mater Private is expanding its GPled Healthcheck Service and is seeking a GP to deliver premium, patientcentred health assessments focused on prevention, early detection, and longterm wellbeing.

The Role

As a Healthcheck Physician, you will:

  • Deliver comprehensive health assessments, including history, examination, and risk profiling
  • Interpret diagnostics such as labs, imaging, and cardiovascular screening
  • Provide clear, evidencebased clinical recommendations and personalised reports
  • Communicate results effectively and arrange followup or specialist referral where needed
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and allied health teams
  • Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and continuous quality improvement
  • Maintain highquality documentation and uphold Medical Council standards


What We're Looking For

  • MBBS or equivalent and vocational training in General Practice
  • Specialist registration (or eligibility) with the Medical Council of Ireland - General Practice
  • Experience in primary care, preventive medicine, internal medicine, or health screening
  • Excellent clinical judgement with a preventive, riskbased approach
  • Strong communication skills and a warm, patientcentred manner
  • Interest in preventive, lifestyle and longevityfocused healthcare
  • Ability to work autonomously within a structured clinical framework
