Full job description

We're delighted to be working with this well renowned restaurant in Glanmire in search of their next Restaurant Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experienced F&B or Restaurant Manager to take the next step in their career.

Working closely alongside the general manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the restaurant, leading the team, maintaining high standards of service and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the business. Some of they key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and handle guest feedback professionally.
  • Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training and performance.
  • Monitor sales, costs, stock control and overall profitability.
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, health and safety standards are maintained.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure excellent food quality and service.
  • Manage bookings, events and customer enquiries.
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional and positive working environment.

About you:

As this role is a senior level role, you'll need to have demonstrated experience working in a similar type of role and environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, with strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

They will have a genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences, alongside excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.

A good understanding of commercial operations, including labour costs, stock control and sales, is essential.

The successful candidate must be able to work well under pressure in a busy environment, lead a team effectively and demonstrate a flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.
