Full job description

Full time chef required for a small Italian restaurant, The Canvas Restaurant, in Kilcock, Co. Kildare. Looking for an experienced chef with Italian background, passion for cooking and hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards

Staying up to date with culinary trends and kitchen processes

Dealing with suppliers and ensuring that they supply quality goods at affordable prices

Managing the inventory and ordering stock as needed

Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen equipment and organising repairs when needed

Developing new dishes

Ensuring that guests receive excellent service and enjoy their experience

Follow HACCP procedure

Requirements

3 years chef experience

Must be able to work flexible hours

Ability to work within a team

Excellent organisation and communication skills

Good level of English required

Must have the legal right to work in Ireland

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €18.00-€20.00 per hour
