Full job description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Pizza Maker / Pizzaiolo to join our team.

The successful candidate will have experience preparing fresh pizza dough, assembling pizzas, and operating a professional pizza oven while maintaining excellent quality, consistency, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare fresh pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients.

* Stretch and shape pizza dough by hand.

* Prepare and cook pizzas to a consistently high standard.

* Operate and maintain the pizza oven safely and efficiently.

* Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.

* Maintain a clean and organised workstation.

* Follow all food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

* Monitor ingredients and assist with stock control.

* Work efficiently during busy service periods.

* Assist with developing new pizzas and seasonal menu items.

Requirements

* Previous professional experience as a Pizza Maker or Pizzaiolo.

* Strong knowledge of dough preparation and fermentation.

* Experience using a professional pizza oven.

* Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and consistency.

* Good attention to detail and presentation.

* Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team.

* Good understanding of food safety and hygiene.

* Experience making Italian or Neapolitan-style pizza is desirable.
