Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Head Pizza Chef to join our busy Italian restaurant located near Croke Park.

The successful candidate will be passionate about authentic Italian cuisine, have strong leadership skills, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality pizzas to a consistently high standard.
  • Lead and supervise the pizza section, ensuring efficient service.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain smooth operations.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients.
  • Train and support junior kitchen staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Pizza Chef or Senior Pizza Chef in a busy restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Italian pizza preparation, dough making, and wood-fired or stone oven cooking.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliable, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality food.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
