I Monelli Restaurant is looking for an experienced Italian Chef to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for a passionate and reliable chef with a strong knowledge of traditional Italian cuisine and experience working in a busy restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes to a high standard
  • Preparing fresh pasta, sauces, starters and main courses
  • Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation
  • Preparing mise en place and organising the kitchen
  • Working efficiently during busy services
  • Following HACCP and all food safety procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
  • Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Italian Chef
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine
  • Good knowledge of pasta, sauces and traditional Italian dishes
  • Ability to work under pressure during busy services
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Reliable and professional attitude
  • HACCP / food safety knowledge
  • Italian language preferred
  • English is an advantage
