I Monelli Restaurant is looking for an experienced Italian Chef to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for a passionate and reliable chef with a strong knowledge of traditional Italian cuisine and experience working in a busy restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking authentic Italian dishes to a high standard
- Preparing fresh pasta, sauces, starters and main courses
- Maintaining consistency, quality and presentation
- Preparing mise en place and organising the kitchen
- Working efficiently during busy services
- Following HACCP and all food safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Italian Chef
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine
- Good knowledge of pasta, sauces and traditional Italian dishes
- Ability to work under pressure during busy services
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Reliable and professional attitude
- HACCP / food safety knowledge
- Italian language preferred
- English is an advantage
