Atlas Language School is currently recruiting part-time Japanese teachers to start working in January 2027, to work 2 to 3 evenings per week (2 hours an evening). We are looking for someone with experience teaching Japanese at various levels (Beginner to Intermediate).

You must be committed to teaching at least one full term, or the remainder of. Terms are 10 weeks in total. The forthcoming term will commence on the 19th of January 2027 and will go on until the 25th of March 2027. This is the first term of a total of 4 terms in the year. Contracts are renewed on a termly basis and there is always an opportunity to continue teaching in the next terms.

You will also be entitled to a €100 end-of-term bonus if you do not take any days off and teach all your classes in that particular term.

Class Timings: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays, 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

Japanese teachers will:

• Be fluent speakers of Japanese, with extensive knowledge of up-to-date communicative teaching approaches and materials
• Be able to effectively incorporate aspects of Japanese culture into the lessons through auditory and visual means
• Demonstrate a commitment to consistently planning and delivering dynamic and motivating lessons
• Display an ability to develop a positive rapport with both students and staff members
• Have a third-level or postgraduate teaching qualification
• Have at least one year’s experience teaching
• Be capable of teaching all levels of learners from Beginner to Intermediate
