The Role
Our flagship store in Dublin’s historic Powerscourt Townhouse is our pride. Here is where we deliver our luxury in-person brand experiences that capture the magic of love and kindness. Working in our flagship store means you will become part of our customers’ most important moments in their lives, from the happiest to the most heartbreaking. This requires incredible passion and empathy for people, but also the skills to demonstrate expertise, finesse and initiative throughout the sales process. Your aim is to deliver an extraordinary experience for our customers, which in turn contributes to the success of our company.
We are currently hiring a part-time Jewellery Sales Associate (21 hours worked over Monday - Sunday, weekends are included in the roster) in our Heirloom Jewellery team. Our brilliant Heirloom team manages the sales of our luxury heirloom collection of engagement, wedding, eternity and right hand rings.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Deliver an incredible experience to customers during pre-booked heirloom appointments and to walk-in customers, demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge and jewellery expertise.
-
Conduct heirloom appointments virtually through virtual consultations.
-
Ensure all heirloom pieces are beautifully presented and that quality and hygienic standards are perfect.
-
Comfortably work towards your sales KPIs aiming to achieve optimal conversion rates.
-
Liaise closely with our logistics and production teams to ensure optimal stock levels and controls, and provide updates on in-store sales trends and bestsellers.
-
Ensure in-store alignment with digital marketing activities.
-
Respect and ensure customer privacy and confidentiality at all times, both during their in-store experience and after.
-
Provide regular reports with customer feedback, store goals and performance to the Store Manager
Your profile
Key Skills:
-
Demonstrate behaviours aligned with the Chupi core values.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with our customers, build sustainable customer relationships and deliver the elevated Chupi brand experience our customers are expecting.
-
Act with integrity and build trust.
-
Proactive in taking initiatives and demonstrate high levels of commitment, enthusiasm and energy, with a drive to achieve results.
-
Demonstrate strong influencing skills.
-
A high level of commercial awareness.
Requirements:
-
A number of years experience working in a high-end customer-facing environment, e.g. luxury retail, 5* hospitality, luxury airline cabin crew, etc.
-
Jewellery retail experience, silversmith or goldsmith training and/or gemstone knowledge are a distinct advantage.
-
Flexibility in working hours and an ability to work weekends is a must.
-
The successful candidate is a confident user of various software tools, will not be fazed by virtual technology and is experienced in providing a level of administrative support.
What next:
If you feel you can meet our customers’ high expectations and deliver the luxurious experience and expertise that is synonymous with our brand, please share your CV and a cover letter with us. The role will commence as soon as possible.
Why us?
Working for Chupi:
Working with Chupi means you will work in a company where kindness is a strategic pillar and one of the core principles on which we do business. We cherish our people and have a culture of trust, respect and kindness, where everyone is valued equally. We have created a community of support and mentorship within our teams, encouraging achievement through a continuous cycle of learning, innovation and growth.
We don’t believe in the always-on culture and therefore our full-time working week is only 35 hours, and we have a generous leave allowance of 30 days per year (prorated for part-time roles), with some of these days designated to focus on your health and wellbeing, our ‘Chupi Bank Holidays’. We also offer generous leave for families, and help you plan for the future by helping you contribute to your pension. Of course our employees and their family and friends can avail of attractive discounts on our collection and we make sure to not only mark our customers’ special moments, but also those of our brilliant team.
About us
Chupi has brought diamonds into the 21st century. For those who celebrate life’s most precious moments, Chupi delivers meaningful luxury, timeless treasures that tell stories of love, hope and everything in between, designed to be passed down for generations to come. Our vision is to transform the way people celebrate their most precious moments, creating a more beautiful tomorrow, and our mission is to do so through a focus on sustainability, innovation and master craftsmanship.
Starting from a market stall, we've grown into a multinational company with exceptional expertise across luxury sales, marketing, and sustainable supply chains. Our team is ambitious, brilliant, and committed to our mission. We've built our business on a foundation of kindness, care, and constant learning, creating a community that supports and mentors one another, encouraging continuous innovation and improvement.
We have taken our first steps into augmented reality with our in-house built virtual try-on tool, and we further expanded our virtual consultation experience for those customers who can’t visit our Dublin flagship store.
With the opening of our new flagship store in October 2023, our business continues to expand, serving customers in over 67 countries worldwide. And 2024 has a lot more in store; we are only beginning to scratch the surface of our global ambition.
