Weekend Sales Assistant – Celtic Spirit Jewellery Ltd

Location: Stephen’s Green Shopping Center, ground floor (beside Dunnes stores)

Hours: 15 hours guaranteed per week, with additional hours available

About Us

Celtic Spirit Jewellery Ltd is a family run Irish jewellery business specialising in Celtic and Irish jewellery. We are passionate about providing excellent customer service and helping customers find meaningful gifts and keepsakes.

The Role

We are seeking a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team. This position offers 15 guaranteed hours per week, primarily working Saturday and Sunday. There may also be opportunities to work additional shifts, including Thursdays and other days when cover is required.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers in a busy retail environment and is flexible to take on extra hours when available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering excellent customer service
  • Assisting customers with purchases
  • Operating the till and processing cash and card transactions
  • Maintaining attractive displays and stock levels
  • Keeping the store clean, organised and well-presented
  • Assisting with general day-to-day retail duties

Requirements

  • Previous retail or customer service experience is welcome but not required
  • Friendly, confident and professional manner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods during shifts
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required, particularly during busy periods

Additional Information

  • 15 guaranteed hours per week
  • Weekend availability is essential
  • Additional shifts, including occasional Thursdays, may be offered
