Specialist Floor Installer / Floor Finisher (Terrazzo, Polished Concrete, Stone, Natural Stone, Epoxy Resin) (Experienced)

Join Stone Seal, Ireland’s leading specialist in Premium Seamless Concrete Overlays and architectural terrazzo. We partner with top architects and designers on high-end homes and commercial fitouts nationwide. We’re hiring experienced resin and stone floor installers to deliver reference-worthy work on design-led projects, with a clear path to Lead Finisher or Site Supervisor.

Location: Office based in North Dublin (nationwide travel to sites)

Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Pay: €18.05–€23/hr DOE. Minimum €37,544 gross per annum with an opportunity for overtime.

What you’ll do

  • Carry out surface preparation, grinding, polishing, sealing, repairs and site protection to a high-specification finish
  • Install and finish resin, epoxy and seamless overlay systems, including mixing and application to manufacturer specification
  • Install, restore and polish stone, terrazzo and architectural toppings
  • Operate, calibrate and maintain finishing equipment (grinders, polishers, vacuums, sealing systems)
  • Diagnose and remedy substrate and finish defects
  • Work to method statements and drawings; maintain a tidy, compliant work area
  • Support and guide junior team members on site
  • Deliver on residential, commercial and industrial sites to programme timelines

What you bring

  • Proven hands-on experience in resin/epoxy flooring, stone or terrazzo installation, concrete polishing or a closely related specialist finishing trade
  • Ability to work to fine tolerances and high-finish standards with minimal supervision
  • Competence operating professional grinding, polishing and sealing equipment
  • Strong work ethic, reliability and good communication
  • Comfortable with physical work in a construction environment
  • Willingness to travel nationwide (accommodation provided if required)
  • Full B driving licence desirable, not essential, company transport from base to site; occasional van driving
  • Safe Pass / Manual Handling (or willingness for us to arrange)

Relevant backgrounds: Resin flooring/epoxy; concrete finishing and polishing; terrazzo/stone restoration or marble polishing; screeding; stonemasonry; tiling; floor sanding; high-finish specialist trades

Development

  • Advanced upskilling on machinery, finishes and protection systems
  • Certification milestones with pay reviews
  • Clear routes into Lead Finisher, Site Supervisor or Management

Schedule & location

  • Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with semi-regular Saturdays (approximately every second Saturday)
  • Flexibility for longer days on specific pours or programme pushes (overtime paid)
  • Based in North Dublin with company transport from base to site; nationwide travel as projects requires

Salary & benefits

  • €18.05–€23 per hour (negotiable DOE), minimum €37,544 gross per annum, plus overtime
