Full job description

At Startle, we help multi-site retail and hospitality brands create better in-venue experiences — through background music, digital signage, and in-store content solutions used across thousands of locations every day. In Ireland, we partner with major grocery retail groups through our Visual ID brand, and we're looking for a Client Support Executive to help keep those partnerships running smoothly.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who's organised, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoys being the person clients can rely on. You'll sit at the heart of our Irish operation — managing content, overseeing campaigns, building templates, and making sure that point-of-sale and promotional materials land on time across a combined estate of around 1,800 stores.

One thing worth knowing upfront: you'll be based full-time at our offices in Kilbeggan — a characterful, historic harbour-side building — and for much of the time you'll be working there independently. You'll be closely connected to the wider UK and Irish team remotely, but this is not a busy open-plan office environment. If you're someone who does their best work with a degree of autonomy and ownership over their space, this could be a great fit. If you're looking for an everyday office buzz, it's probably not the right match.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as the primary day-to-day contact for client teams across Marketing, Trading, HR, Store Development, and partnered service providers
  • Managing and maintaining content for local marketing toolkit applications across all supported brands and store networks
  • Overseeing delivery of point-of-sale materials across print, digital screen, social media, and audio channels
  • Building, updating, and managing editable templates for all store departments using Startle's marketing toolkit technology
  • Managing our “E-Sign” product — a data-driven, mission-critical system — across all supported brands, covering 17 promotional cycles per year
  • Reviewing, approving, and uploading data for each grocery department and promotional campaign, ensuring everything is accurate, on-brand, and delivered on time
  • Working closely with the Client Support Manager, Country Manager, Sales, and IT teams
  • Supporting shared responsibility for phone management at our company head office
  • Providing general office maintenance duties

What you'll bring

  • At least 3 years' experience in a client support, account support, or similar customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you're comfortable managing multiple stakeholder relationships at once
  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of accuracy, especially when working with data-driven content under tight deadlines
  • Confidence working across a wide range of media and content formats
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Comfort with — and ideally a preference for — working independently: this is primarily a solo office role, with strong remote connection to the wider team
  • Access to your own vehicle

What you'll get

  • A full-time role (5 days per week), or possibly part-time / reduced hours if required, at the heart of a fast-growing tech company
  • The chance to work directly with some of Ireland's most recognisable national retail brands
  • A beautiful, characterful office in a historic harbour-side building in Kilbeggan — a genuinely lovely place to work
  • Salary: €30,000–€50,000 depending on experience

Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you — send your CV and a short note on why this role is a good fit.
