Management Accountant (Fully Qualified, 2+ Years PQE)
Contract: 4 Months
Location: Co. Wicklow
Salary: €60,000 - €75,000 DOE

The Role

Our client is looking for a Management Accountant to support their finance team through a busy period. Reporting to the Head of Operational Finance, you'll own the monthly management accounts process and act as a key source of financial insight for senior stakeholders. It's a hands-on role in a busy finance function, with scope to mentor junior team members. A great opportunity for someone looking to broaden their commercial exposure.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Preparing monthly management accounts and group consolidations
  • Producing supporting papers, variance analysis, and commentary
  • Supporting the year-end statutory audit
  • Managing customs and import duty documentation across multiple markets
  • Reviewing supplier invoices for accuracy before posting
  • Overseeing AP, AR, and inventory queries, with some supervisory responsibility
  • Reconciling multi-currency bank accounts

What We're Looking For

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA), 2+ years PQE
  • Hands-on, comfortable in a busy finance function
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence with financial data
  • Good systems experience, ideally SAP
  • Strong Excel skills, including modelling
  • Experience with group/consolidated reporting across multiple entities
  • Solid grasp of cost structures, pricing, and financial planning
  • Able to support leadership on the financial impact of business decisions
  • Strong communicator, written and verbal
  • Comfortable working across teams, including senior stakeholders
  • Confident liaising with auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions
