Job Summary

We're looking for an enthusiastic Junior Copywriter to join our creative team. You'll work alongside senior writers, art directors, and designers to craft compelling copy across digital ads, social media, brand campaigns, and more. You'll bring fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions, help shape brand voices, and contribute to work that's as strategically smart as it is creatively exciting.

The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller who sweats the details and loves the craft. You're comfortable in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple projects, and see feedback as part of the process. A portfolio that shows your range and creative thinking matters more to us than a perfect CV — so if you're curious, driven, and passionate about great writing, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support senior creatives in developing ideas across a range of briefs, taking on increasing ownership as confidence and experience grows
  • Write across different forms of media, including scripts, digital, content, and social
  • Contribute to client presentations and begin building client relationships under the guidance of senior team members
  • Explore and familiarise yourself with GenAI tools and how they can be incorporated into the creative process
  • Develop an understanding of strategy and ensure all ideas are on brief
  • Manage your own workload across multiple projects and deliverables, with support from senior colleagues
  • Assist in production and post-production processes, building knowledge across all facets
  • Collaborate across disciplines to help deliver projects to a high creative standard and on time
  • Develop your presentation skills, building confidence in sharing ideas both internally and with clients
  • Give and receive constructive feedback openly and respectfully
  • Show a positive and resilient attitude, embracing the challenges and opportunities that come with agency life
  • Be an enthusiastic and reliable collaborator across the wider team, including D5 Dublin, Song Ireland, and global partners

Basic Qualifications

  • Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating smart, brand-building ideas and executions

  • Multi-faceted in developing different types of creative media
  • Some production experience in any of the different types of productions
  • Strong and developing storytelling skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Collaborative and team oriented with proficiency working with members of all different departments, with minimal supervision
  • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills for effective communication to clients, internal team and management
