Senior Software Development Engineer
About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer III at ADI, you will be a senior-level engineer with demonstrated technical leadership. You will lead the development of major features, provide technical guidance to junior team members, and contribute to architectural decisions that shape our software products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of major features and software components
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
- Drive technical decisions for projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and solutions
- Improve development processes and engineering standards
- Design and implement complex software solutions to challenging problems
- Contribute to software architecture and system design
Must Have Skills
- Programming: Expert-level programming abilities in languages relevant to our technology stack
- Architecture: Deep understanding of software architecture principles and patterns
- System Design: Strong system design capabilities for complex software solutions
- Debugging: Advanced debugging and optimization skills for performance-critical applications
- SDLC: Experience with complex software systems and their lifecycle management
- Risk Management: Ability to balance technical trade-offs and make sound engineering decisions
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts effectively
- SW Licensing : Aware of various software licensing models, including open-source, proprietary, and hybrid licenses.
- CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated build and test processes, and integration with version control systems.
Preferred Education and Experience
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field
- 5+ years of software development experience
