We are excited to announce an opening for a Junior Marketing Executive within our team! This is a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations within Softworks. This individual must be highly motivated and detail-oriented, as the successful candidate will be responsible for content creation, events, and marketing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and creative individual to contribute to the success of a growing organisation and develop their marketing skills while gaining hands-on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

Video Production & Content Creation:

  • Create and edit video content for social media, marketing campaigns, events, and internal projects.
  • Record and produce video content from initial concept through to final editing and delivery.
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

Market Research & Insights:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies.

CRM & Data Management:

  • Support data enrichment and database maintenance activities.
  • Perform data cleansing and data upload tasks to ensure CRM accuracy and integrity.

Sales & Event Support:

  • Assist with sales enablement activities for events, including preparing materials, presentations, and resources.
  • Support event delivery, evaluations, and post-event reporting.

Administrative & Marketing Support:

  • Provide general marketing and administrative support across the department as required.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives to support broader business objectives.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster collaboration within the Softworks Group and liaise effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with international data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR).
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices, particularly digital marketing trends, and AI innovations relevant to global markets.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field

Professional Skills:

  • Demonstrated interest in marketing, digital content creation, and event management
  • Confidence in creating and producing video content, from filming through to editing and final delivery
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with customers and stakeholders where required
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel for events and business activities as required
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using video editing software and content creation tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office and Google Workspace (G-suite) applications

Location:

The role will be based in Softworks HQ in Bray, Co. Wicklow. We currently have hybrid working in place, combining office-based working with working from home.
