Full job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
  • Take customer orders accurately, either in person or using the restaurant’s ordering system.
  • Process cash, card, and contactless payments and provide correct change.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards.
  • Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
  • Handle customer requests and resolve minor complaints in a polite and professional manner.
  • Keep the counter, dining area, and service areas clean, organised, and hygienic.
  • Restock food packaging, drinks, condiments, and other supplies when required.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time.
  • Follow food safety, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cash handling.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude during busy periods.
